Figuring out which Canada’s easiest provinces to immigrate to should be your top priority. This is because the province you will settle in will determine several factors in your stay in Canada.

They include the type of job you’ll be in, your average income, the people you’ll meet, your lifestyle, your children’s education, and more. That doesn’t mean one province in Canada is better than another, but some are less easy to immigrate to.

That’s why, in this article, we want to help you choose the easiest province in Canada to immigrate to and why you should choose it.

Express interest, how does it work?

One of the fastest ways to immigrate to Canada is to enter the Express Entry system. The system has been proven, working overtime, to be the best way for people to immigrate to the country. In addition, the average processing time for the Fast Track system is six months. However, it can be shorter or longer than this. Under this system, you can find three federal immigration programs, which are:

Federal Skilled Worker Program
Canadian Experience Class
Federal Technology Trade Program.

Additionally, almost all provinces and territories in Canada have at least one stream connected to the Express Entry system where they can search for applicants in occupations that meet the exact needs of the province.

When the province finds suitable candidates, it invites them through a process called an Expression of Interest (EOI). Candidates can apply for the stream through this process. However, they will be further assessed before they are invited to apply for permanent residence a second time.

Below, we’ll take a look at Canada’s most accessible provinces for Express Entry and other stream immigration.

One of the easiest Provinces – Ontario

Ontario is one of the easiest provinces in Canada to immigrate to under the Express Entry system. It operates three streams for skilled workers who plan to live and work permanently in the province. They include:

Ontario Express Entry Human Capital Priorities;

Ontario Express Entry French Skilled Worker Stream
and the Ontario Express Entry Technology Trade Stream
Among them, Ontario Express Skilled Trades Stream is not very demanding. You only need one year of work experience in a National Occupational Classification (NOC) 633, 73, 73 or 82 occupation to qualify.

Additionally, you only need a Level 5 on the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) to qualify. Processing time can be completed in as little as 30 to 60 days. What’s more, the Ontario Rapid Tech Trade Stream brought nearly 7,000 invitations to Ontario in a month, with more to come over time.

Also, if you have a university degree and can apply through CEC or FSWP, the Ontario Express Entry Human Capital Priority Stream is for you. This requires you to have only one year of work experience, although the minimum CLB score is 7. Also, it has a processing time of 30 to 60 days.

One of the easiest Provinces – is British Columbia (BC)

Another province in Canada that is easiest to immigrate to is British Columbia. One of the benefits of immigrating to this province is that the many visa options here allow you to become a permanent resident of Canada and eventually a citizen.

Additionally, it offers multiple visa options for students, skilled workers and casual workers. Many of these visas allow you to easily qualify for one of the three federal programs under the Express Entry system.

While you can immigrate to British Columbia through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), it has three other categories that you can immigrate. One of them is the Entrepreneur Immigration Regional Pilot Program. The program is focused on helping business owners immigrate to the province while retaining new employees who decide to settle in B.C.

Another program is the BC PNP Tech Pilot, which only admits individuals from the IT industry. Its average processing time is two to three months. You can also apply for a visa online, which can take up to five months to process. There are 29 in-demand occupations under the program, some of which are:

Civil engineer
Web designer
Graphic Designer
Computer programmer
Mechanical Engineers
Computer network technician
Telecom operator manager
Audio and video recording technician
Software Engineers and Designers

One of the easiest Provinces – Manitoba

If you are an entrepreneur, you can easily immigrate to Manitoba through any of the various streams available. Whether you want to start a new business, co-own or buy a business in the province, this is very possible for you.

Conversely, if you are not an entrepreneur, you can also immigrate to Manitoba through the Skilled Worker Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. That is if you are a skilled worker in a recognised industry.

Steps to Immigrate to Manitoba

Use this program to immigrate to Manitoba in three easy steps.

Step 1: Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to any stream in the province. When you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA), you can proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Provide all the information you originally sent with your MPNP program application.

Step 3: Follow up on the assessment of your options and apply separately to the Government of Canada for permanent residency.

Here are the documents you need to submit:

Passport
Education certificate
Birth certificate
Passport
Employment documents such as occupation, employment letter, reference letters, job description and salary, etc.
Language test results
Billing fees and plans.

Another program that makes it easy to immigrate to Manitoba is the Manitoba In-Demand Occupation Category. It is part of the MPNP system. Since there are many jobs in high demand in the province, you can be lucky to apply through EOI. Some of the jobs that are in high demand can be found in the following industries:

Business, Administration and Finance
Social science
Natural and applied sciences
Healthy
Arts, Culture, Entertainment and Sports
Processing, Manufacturing and Utilities
Sales and service, etc.

More interestingly, these jobs only require a level 5 in the CLB to qualify, which is the lowest level of any Canadian program.

One of the easiest Provinces – Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan is one of the easiest provinces in Canada to immigrate to. The province offers additional CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) allocations for applicants with family members or cousins ‚Äč‚Äčliving in Saskatchewan. You can immigrate to the province through the Express Entry system or Occupation In-Demand. If you don’t have any profile in the Express Entry system, you should try Occupation In-Demand. This is because the latter runs on an EOI system.

Also, if you have more than 10 years of experience, there is a good chance you have secured your choice through the SINP (Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker PNP). This is to attract only experienced workers in any skilled occupation in Saskatchewan to the province.

Additionally, to submit an Expression of Interest, you must have at least one year of work experience. You must also meet the language requirements through an associate degree. Again, you must achieve at least 60 points on the province’s points assessment grid.

What’s more, if you qualify for the Express Entry system, you can apply under the Saskatchewan Express Entry stream to expedite your chances of permanent residency.

One of the easiest Provinces – Alberta

The Alberta Express Entry stream selects applicants from the federal Express Entry pool and invites them to apply for provincial elections. One of the benefits of applying through this stream is that it selects candidates who score as low as 300 in the CRS. Therefore, more candidates have the opportunity to receive selection notifications in the pool. To improve your CRS, you must have:

An eligible relative who is a permanent resident or citizen of Alberta
Job opportunities or work experience in the province
A certificate from any post-secondary school in Canada.
Since Alberta’s Express Entry stream operates through the federal Express system, your CRS will increase by 600 points if you receive a provincial nomination. This pretty much guarantees you an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the upcoming Express Entry draw.

One of the easiest Provinces – Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia nominates candidates directly from the Express Entry pool through its labour market priorities. Again, this stream selects candidates who have no ties to the province. Therefore, it is considered to be one of the easiest ways to get PR.

Additionally, Nova Scotia did not announce the job categories they would be targeting prior to the admissions range. However, you must have a valid Express Entry profile and show interest in the province to qualify. If you are a successful nominee, your CRS score will be awarded an additional 600 points. With these points, you have a great chance of earning an ITA in the federal Express Entry draw.
