The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is based on the area in which a person specialises and has a natural talent. If you want to become a permanent resident of Canada in 2022, you should know that the easiest PNP is determined by each individual’s eligibility criteria. There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution. So in this article, we will be explaining which PNP is the easiest to get Canadian PR in 2022.

The goal of the PNP, which was launched by the Canadian government, is to welcome immigrants to arrive and settle in provinces where there are specific skill shortages. The PNPs also gave provinces/territories the authority to select migrant candidates who have the aptitude and proficiency to contribute to the economic growth of their respective provinces/territories.

Each province or territory covered by the PNP has its own set of specific streams aimed at selecting immigrants from specific categories. The provinces and territories that participate in PNPs provide immigrants with 80 nomination streams. A prospective immigrant who wishes to apply for permanent residency through the PNP must first identify the province that will provide him or her with the appropriate stream that meets his or her criteria or work experience. The PNP is supported by Canada’s nine provinces and two territories.

Immigrants are permitted in British Columbia under the Skills Immigration Express Entry BC and Entrepreneur immigration programmes. Manitoba invites candidates through the Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas, and International Education Stream.

Immigrant candidates can apply for the PNP in New Brunswick under the categories of entrepreneurs, international graduates, skilled workers with employer support, and skilled workers under the EE stream. The province of Newfoundland and Labrador accepts Express Entry candidates, skilled workers, international graduates, and entrepreneurs. Nova Scotia welcomes immigrants to apply under the Express Entry, skilled worker, and entrepreneur categories. Meanwhile, Ontario only accepts candidates through the Human Capital Priorities Stream.

The province of Prince Edward Island has chosen to invite immigrants through the Express Entry Entrepreneur and International Graduate streams. Saskatchewan accepts applications through the Express Entry and Skilled Worker Occupation In-Demand streams. Finally, the North West Territories and Yukon allow candidates to apply through the employer-driven and business, as well as the foreign workers and business nominee streams.

The PNP had only invited 233 candidates in 1996, but the admission target for 2022 has now been set at 86,000.

From 2022 to 2024, Canada expects to welcome over 260,000 new permanent residents solely through the PNP.
